Sheriff’s sales for foreclosure and tax delinquent properties will be held every Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in the lobby of the Miami County Sheriff’s Office located at 201 W. Main Street, Troy, Ohio. (Please bring a completed buyer form with you to the auction. It can be found below.)
Sale notices are published weekly on Friday in the Troy Daily News or Piqua Daily Call. Properties listed for auction are NOT open for inspection or tours. The Sheriff’s Office does not fax or mail information regarding the sale of properties. Copies of sale lists are available through the records section and can be obtained Mon-Fri from 8:00 am- 4:00 pm.

In accordance with House Bill 138 the successful bidder must be prepared to put down a deposit of 10% of the appraised value of the property in addition to .5% of the appraised value for transfer, conveyance, and recording fees at the conclusion of the auction. Any amount over this cost will be refunded to the purchaser.
All tax sales will take place on the same day and time as foreclosure sales and the successful bidder must be prepared to pay 100% of purchaser price in addition to 1% of the purchase price for transfer, conveyance, and recording fees at the conclusion of sale.
